RESTAURANTS:
Rocco: Was it the presentation? The food? The service? The aesthetics? This Itlalian spot is globally recognized for all!
Three different (yet stunning) rooms that feel like 3 different experiences. I’d return to each!
Tip: The carbonara cooked in the parmesan wheel was fantastic.
JNcQuoiAsia: What’ll it be? Thai? Chinese? Japanese? How about Indian?
Visit them all and enjoy this lively establishment - dress for an asian cosmopolitan kind of night!
LIBATIONS:
MonkeyMash: Often referred on World’s 50 Best Bars - the murals everywhere make this place unmistakable.
Even more so… innovative cocktails underground Lisbon… literally?
18.68: In the same family as Monkey Mash, this bar is located in the BairroAltoHotel in the glamourous Chiado district.
Great spot to pop off after an afternoon of shopping.. for an appertif!
ACTIVITIES:
PraiaIrmao: You need a beach club in your life… and this is the spot. A vibe from the aesthetics to the music, the cliental, the drinks, food and service. Hell, even the clothing they sell hits. We grabbed a few pieces.
Tip: For an entire days worth of great drinks, food and a cabana it was $300 between 3 of us. Deal!
TukTukTour: In reality, there are many operators across the city and I highly recommend a few hours.
Even more so, I recommend taking one of these tours early on in your trip so you can get an idea of where you might want to spend your time walking about / shopping and dropping by for a bite to eat or drink. This is very much a walking city… but where?
COFFEE & DESSERT:
PastelDeNata: LISTEN! These pastel’s are everywhere and there is local debate as to which is the best… the good news?
That means you have to try them all! This is soooo Lisboa. I suggest eating one every other hour at least!
